Industry Nine Torch Rear Hub

Available At:

The Torch has lower drag and uses a smaller and lighter bearing and features a new and improved drive ring, pawl geometry, relocated bearings and seals. The Torch still has Industry Nine's famous 120 point of engagement and it is convertible to SRAM's revolutionary XX1 drivetrain.

Strength:

Color, overall stiffness, customer service team is incredible, craftsmanship, engagement points.

Weakness:

Cost.

In terms of engagement points, compared to ALL the hubs I have ridden the Industry Nines are second to none. Incredible craftsmanship and finishing. Compared to the Chris Kings that are owned by friends of mine, you would be hard pressed to find any differences in terms of quality between the two. Both are beautiful, but I own Industry Nines, so I am partial. Apparently the axle types are interchangeable, freehubs too, a feature I have never used, but that is nice to know. I do not know what the differences are between the Torch hubs and the previous generations of Industry Nines, but these are incredible. Compared to other hubs in their price bracket, I would say 5/5. Overall value 4/5.
