All Mountain Rider

Strength:

Easy to set up. Rides well with a large range of sag percentages due to the mid valve which really works. Decent chassis rigidity and plush off the top. Rides best at high speed and rides high in it's travel. More than enough rebound range. Lots of mud clearance with 29 x 2.35" Nobby Nic tires

Weakness:

No compression adjustments beside lockout, which doesn't really lockout. Feels a bit too flexy at low speed chunky stuff.

This fork came stock on my Ripley special blend. I was pleasantly surprised in all areas except low speed chunky technical sections whether climbing or descending. It's not the plushest at high speeds like my lyrik was but it does keep you rolling and in control and keeps your front tire tracking well. This fork is best at moderate speeds whether the trail is smooth, rough, or intermediate. The mid valve really keeps the front end from diving so you can really lean into corners with no bad surprises.
