Strength:

~ Weighs 3.43lbs/1556g with 6.75" steer tube
~ Stiffer than SID XX World Cup
~ Tracks like a tank
~ Corners SOLID
~ XLoc lockout is top-notch
~ Dual Air chambers means infinite tunability
~ Plush, for a 10mm fork
~ Excellent small bump compliance
~ Uses all of its travel, without ever blowing through its stroke
~ Progressive ramp-up
~ Better service interval than equivalent Fox 32 F100 29 RLT
~ Maxle Light 15mm axle is beefy and solid
~ G2 version is about the finest 100mm tapered fork made

Weakness:

~ Dual Air no longer produced

The SID XX 29 World Cup may feel creamy and smooth - but you can still feel the carbon flex, on hard cornering. Not so, on the alloy steerer SID XX 29er. The plushness and infinite tune ability alone, is worth the price of admission. Although its primarily an XC fork - it can easily handle AM/Trail duties as well.

It's the most favored part of my entire bike...
