Lightweight, simple, reliable, affordable, adjustable, lockout.

Rebound adjust is a cheap plastic knob that is easily broke when changing the oil or adjusting the travel. Some of the other parts are cheap plastic. Stanchions are sticky towards small bump compliance until broken in.

After about 50 pretty rough miles on this fork and it is starting to operate very nicely. This last weekend the fork swallowed up Butcher Ranch at Downieville effortlessly. At first the fork would resist eating small bumps. Now that the seals have been worked in some they slide much smoother. At 215lb riding weight I'm running the exact specified amount of air and the feel is perfect. My rear shock is the Fox DRCV and this fork responds better than the shock. Adding the spacer to reduce the travel from 150mm to 130mm was easy and only took about 20 min after learning how from a forum on this site. I would recommend this fork for someone who only rides one bike, doesn't need a fancy flagship fork, doesn't need/want bells and whistles, rides all mountain and cross country.
