Very stiff, Not too tall for 160mm fork

The fork just works so well and comming from years of QR in the front of all my bikes the 20mm makes a huge difference when hucking over log piles and on the downhills. I weigh in at 195 with gear and the stock spring is fine if your not doing five foot drops. It compliments my sixpack so well that I have a hard time getting off the bike. The fun factor increased so much. I had a leaky psylo from the factory back in 2002 and swore I would never by a Rock Shox again do to customer service issues. Since Sram took over I decided to give the company another shot and I'm glad I did. It's nice having a fork that does not use any type of air assist, it's just less to go wrong in my opinion. The compression adjustments are very noticable from click to click but not too drastic. The rebound settings are also very precise and gives the rider a wide range of preference. The fork also has this floodgate setting that's useless unless your riding involves long fire road treks. The feature seems to slow down oil flow resulting in a semi lockout of the travel. I mainly ride aggressive cross country enduro style riding or whatever you want to call it. The fork in much lighter than it looks so don't think it will turn your all mountain ride into a clunker. A great choice for a long travel all mountain ride
