Strength:

Lightweight
Superb damping
Easy adjustment
Easy to work on
20mm axle really increases the stiffness
Great customer support by Manitou

Weakness:

20mm hex axle a bit of a hassle to use
stickers are crap

A great fork for the money! Rode everything from mild xc to 4-foot drops on my Wolfridge. Plenty stiff, although not the stiffest. But the key here is the suppleness of the travel and the weight of the fork. It is UNDER 4 LBS! The best part is that this fork can be tuned easily exactly to my liking, and I am no suspension specialist. The ABS+ has limitless possibilities, unlike the crappy Fox RP23 in the back, which you have to send to PUSH and pay like half the original cost to get it right. The hybrid MARS spring is a good idea, even thought the steel spring broke after a couple of sessions at Ray's(most likely my fault, not what it's made for). But the guy at Manitou was very helpful and hooked me up with a new one in a week, for free! Overall, very satisfied with it after 2 seasons, wish more forks worked as good as this one.

Strength:

Price, durability and the versatility to custom tune the fork to your liking

Weakness:

None, although I don't really care for the Brake line routing

Bought this fork to get into the 29er movement and haven't looked back. At first I had a lot of pedal bob and brake dive but after contacting Manitou and installing the correct spring for my weight then adjusting the ABS+ these symptoms disappeared. Now this fork rides like a rigid when locked out and soaks up the bumps when opened with my riding weight of 300lbs...I would defiantly recommend this fork

Strength:

Nice smooth travel. Simple back to basics set-up. Easy to adjust. Decent looks and quality.

Weakness:

Mine came with a spring way too soft for my weight! If you are purchasing some of these make sure you get the LBS to install the correct spring for you. Apart from that a nice basic fork.

A few niggles but Manitou are almost there with the new forks. By keeping things simplistic and back to basics a bargain too!
