Strength:

Great suspension stroke, good looks, post mount, range of usable adjustment

Weakness:

none to date

Really nice, light, adjustable performance oriented fork. After riding this and a lesser example, I have to say that Manitou is on the right track with their Minute line. They offer a very stiff set of 32 mm stanchions while still being lightweight. The MRD dampening system works very will with easily adjustable platform valving ranging from a veritable lockout to very plush with a single nob (as opposed to fox with their nested valve adjusts). Overall easy to set up (especially compared to a true air shock). Seals are holding up well and overall product seems very durable. Post mounts are a nice plus but by no means unique. While it may not be the plushest fork in the world, it doesn't let you down or blow through the travel. As for the question of is it worth the msrp...? not so certain as there is some pretty stiff competition.

Strength:

Stiff, Plush, Lightweight, Adjustable

Weakness:

None so far. Need a remote for this fork.

Just got this fork, one of the first 2009.5 Minute MRDs. VERY, VERY NICE. I hope that Manitou gets back on the map with these forks. I've been riding Manitou for 10 years now and I'm very happy with their products, ease of maintenance, customer service. I'm a xc rider weighing in around 195-205 lbs @ 6'-3". I love the adjustability of this fork. It's plush on the trails, but yet stiff when you need it (that's what she said). Commuting into work nice with the absolute platform. Just wish it had a remote for the AP lever.
