Strength:

Rigid fork

Weakness:

just about everythiing else...

I rode my friends newish specialized p.2 with the ammo forks that he had been riding on for a couple of days and the moment i hit my first jump which was only a mis sized dirtjump the fork bottomed out and broke through the bottom of it??? WTF if this can happen then they shouldnt be sold to anyone anywhere. I have no idea what some of these people are saying when they say its a good starter fork. Its a piece of junk, i saw a reiew further up saying that the shell casing is good, well yeah thats why they are rigid forks.... All and all if your going to put your money into a fork just pay a little extra and go with something a little more upclass like marzocchi dj's or fox floats, It might just save your teeth coz mine sure took a hammering...

The look

Weakness:

Fragile, bad feeling, poor settings,...

The fork work along 3 month and 150km in a FR3, the feeling is not good, had no settings and finally the "springs" die without had worked hard.

I replace it with a used, but in good condition RS PIKE and...what a fu$%&g diffrence!!!! This is a fork!! Maybe not a great fork, but a fork!

Strength:

is really great in the heat, but 70 degrees and under it is a peice of junk that is way to stiff

Weakness:

weight, temperature effected way too much, no adjustment whatsoever, works goodfor about 15 minutes then stops working.

ok fork for what you pay, but you should just spend the extra money and get a fox float or a rock shox tora

We did surgery on the fork. The shock could use a stiffer spring, and the valve on the damper is a piece of trash. It has a spring in it that breaks really easy and is impossible to replace without knowing someone at spinner who can pocket one in the factory. The outer shell is good. I recomend, if you broke a fork with a good spring and dampening system, building a frankenfork out of this one with the components.

Strength:

Very solid feel

Weakness:

either will not compress or way too soft and the rebound is so slow the whole thing starts clanking on rough turf.

The fork is a good shell with crappy innards. Maybe if you pull it apart and replace the innards with new coils and whatever floats your boat you will find it to be an awesome shock. I haven't decided what to do with mine yet.

Strength:

it seems strong, looks good, absorbs the odd hit, the paint matches the aniki's so thats a bonus i guess

Weakness:

the forks come with what would seem to be leaking seals, they bottom out off drops quite easy, the pre load dosnt work at all, you can hear what sounds to be sloshing oil just flowing around when the fork is compressed.

they allow you to have a front wheel to your bike... the bike itself is good for the price but id recomend getting better forks and a rear shock, i have a fox DHX 3.0 comming and either a boxxer team or a bomber super t rv on order and the bike will be mint.

Strength:

good looks,
travel,
stong,
reasonable value

Weakness:

performance,
oil on stanchions after rides,
slow rebound,
very stiff,
size of seals, they need to be special ordered right from spinner, no bikeshops carry them.

It is a good fork for a beginner.
It is very stiff and low quality.
Slow rebound, and doesn't ubsorb little bumps, just big drops and high impacts. Ex 3 foot to flat

Great bike, but the fork is a little bit of a bummer.

If you are just looking for a fork to cruise with, this is good, but it isn't a hardcore fork by any means,
but for the time i had it, it did its job

Strength:

Beefy, looks, travel

Weakness:

Rebound, seals, basically everything else

No shock absorbing from this thing.I built my bike on a budget and this was the cheapest fork I could get at the time. Now I'm mad I didn't wait. It's an older model so hopefully they changed it by now. It's 150 mm of travel but it has only moved about 40mm. And the stachions have way too much oil on them after a ride. I hate this fork. It probably needs a rebuild but I'm not going to waste my time.
