iheartbikes magazine Magazine

the goal of iheartbikes is to create an increasingly higher quality publication about the sport, culture, art form, and lifestyle of cycling. iheartbikes is a grass roots publication for people who are tired of the status quo of the current crop of cycling magazines. our editorial will intrigue, stimulate, inform and entertain cyclists of all interests. iheartbikes is a subscription based publication with just six ad pages per issue, this allows us to concentrate more on high quality stories that the other magazines shy away from.

Strength:

This magazine really captures what it's like to just be in love with bikes--not how to be the most insane rider on the trails or how to optimize your diet or anything like that. There are articles/stories from all perspectives (serious, casual; roadie, mountain, etc.).

As someone who is not serious enough to care about every last technical detail on the latest model of bike, but just LOVES the feeling of riding silently down hills and being warm from riding even on the coldest (and wettest) days, this magazine fits in perfectly with my idea of what bikes can do. They can make people free, they can be art, they can push people to be the best that they can (and love it)!

Weakness:

The current schedule, with only two issues per year. But if that's what it takes to keep quality up, so be it.

This is not necessarily a highly-informative magazine (but they're only on their first issue so who knows what future issues will be like). This magazine reminds me why I fell in love with biking and inspires me to keep riding!

Strength:

High quality magazine with very nice photos of trails and riding. I liked the interview in the first issue very much. I am looking forward to seeing what is in the next issue.

Weakness:

No weaknesses so far.

I bought a subscription before the first one was published and was very happy with the first issue. If future issues are of the same quality then this magazine should be around for a while and will be worth the read.
