    Strength:

    very low maintenance.
    affordable.
    simple tunning

    Weakness:

    BUSHINGS!!!!
    stiffness!!!

It works very very well, BUT!! bushings are very BAD !!! and their replacement is quite expensive,(about 71 usa dollars).
If you are an agressive biker, you should change bushings each year....
very low maintenance makes it a very interesting fork usable on XC and very very lite freeriding.
It isn't very stiff so driving is not precissely, but, i repeat: It works GOOD!

    Strength:

hummmm, i'll come back to you on that one

TINY bit more travel than a rigid>

    Weakness:

Everything; not that much better than a rigid fork. NUTHIN compared to my new Zoke Z5 Coil 130 mm

Okay i guess, but nuthin compared to my new Zoke. It cost about $80 at price point, and i got my Zoke for $175. REALLY BIG DIFFERENCE!!
    Go ZOKES!!

    Strength:

    Good performance for the money
    Good entry-level fork
    Low-maintenence
    Hydracoil= "coil-&-oil", that is.

    Weakness:

Only Preload is adjustable- but what do you want for $119?

This is the bottom-of-the-line Hydracoil fork from Rock Shox. It's pretty much a no-frills version of their Judy fork- except you can't adjust compression or rebound, only preload. I can only compare them to the Jett XC, which is NOT Hydracoil- it's elastomer-sprung, and not NEAR the fork the SL is. The SL is plush & soaks up the small bumps pretty well, and soaks up the bigger hits fine. If you're looking for a good, solid, entry-level fork to beat up, the Jett SL is an excellent place to start. It'll do me fine until I get a Marzocchi Z1 on my next bike...

    Strength:

Nice, plush ride for the average rider

    Weakness:

    Can't find any so far

Good fork for the beginner/intermediate rider. Original equipment only. I ride light/moderate XC trails. Nothing too crazy, just small drop-offs, jumps, and rocks that you find in this part of the country. The fork is adequate for me - I'm 175 lbs and I haven't been able to bottom out the fork yet. Some will say that this just means I don't ride hard enough... Well, that might be true, but I'm satisfied with the performance of the fork and would recommend it.

    Strength:

Enough travel for xc riding. Plush. Soaks up small and large bumps easily. Strong enough. Coil and oil is great.

    Weakness:

    None so far.

Only bottomed this fork once on a badly shaped (squarish) rock at about 45 kph. Good fork for xc riding with enough smooth travel over stutter bumps and biggish bumps to please anyone. Preload adjutments work well.
