Strength:

Frame continues to be strong after serious downhill abuse. Has always shifted well both front and rear.

Weakness:

Chain would stick and get kinked up. Had to be replaced almost immediately. Bell Gardens bike shop sucked were not the least bit helpful with problem. Sent them four customers three of which bought the same bike all in one month and the chubby owner(who is married to a girl from Pius X) still did not honor the free tuneups he promised. Just because the bike looked used (mud and scratches). Duh! it,s amountain bike. oH YEA THE headset did break.

I bought this bike seven years ago and have been mountain biking ever since. I have several bikes now but still this bike is ridden if not by me,by someone I'm introducing to the adventure. On the mountain I still pass 89% of the riders up there going up or flying down on my so called hard tail solid fork purple bull bars Haro Vector 3a.

Rear hub

I've only had this bike for a few weeks but already have had found some strengths and weakness. I got this bike used and it came in great shape, but only a week after I receved it the rear hub gave out. The headset also comes lose occasionaly. Over all I like this bike, I haven't had the chance to go offroad much but I think it will preform. I think it would be a good investment for anybody who needs a cheap, high quality bike.

Strength:

Tough frame and a solid feel to it for only 400 bucks. Though haro was into the bmx mode it finally stepped up to bat with their mountain bike to join the ranks with the other mountain bikes. This bike is not for the extreme rider but is more or less for the ocasional beating and off roading.

Weakness:

Rims are a little on theweak side and tweak easy. I recomend if the bike is kept for any amount of time to upgrade the crank, brakets and wheel sets to sealed berrings mine wore out and its a maintanece nightmare to upkeep without them. Akso the headset keeps unscrewing watch out for it.

Though the bike has its downfalls, its garenteed for life on the frame and forks, cant beat that.

Suspension forks on this baby go off. Standard issue Stainless steel forks that is quite strong NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!The headset is awsome but watch out if you ride of a gutter it will snap in half the handlebars are great when you have your boyfreind sitting on them because i know i like boys and my daddy goes off aswell this bike is the best bike i have ridden in all my life it only costs 50 cents australian its a bargain. Its better thatn any other bike on the market even better then the mongoose 9.7 or any other bike in that price range $5000.00 and up.

Strength:

Good Welds. It's held a 200 lb rider for four years, and seen a lot of over the handle bar wrecks.
Easy to control and responsive. Easy to upgrade (universal)
If you straddle the top tube you won't be singing soprano.

Weakness:

It's comes stock with a lot of heavy, low end parts. Mine came with rst 260 front suspension. Great if you way 120lbs and stay on the road. The seat post is an odd size that no one keeps in stock.

A great bike for it's cost, and easy to upgrade. The frame is well built and can take abuse and keep on going.
