Strength:

I've got an '03 Disc Specific Frame, 18" weighs in at 3.5lbs, very compact triangles, ultra sloped top tube 22" gives huge clearance and a not too stretched out ride positon, natural finish looks awesome, no paint chips/flakes to worry over.

Weakness:

Stickers as usual, imagine if the decals could be engraved into the tubes!!! Could be a couple of ton cheaper!!

The Brick Sh*thouse of XC Frames!! Builds up into a strong and light bike.

Strength:

Dame strong frame with great feel. Once she got away from me and took an 8 foot free fall onto a boulder , right to the top tube. Just a scratch to show for it. This is a life-time frame. The long top tube and short chain stays allows you to use a short stem for quick strearing.

Weakness:

Heavy for TI but weight wasn't a design spec, strength was.

Bet hard tale on the market and the only one you'll ever have to own since it'll outlive you.

Strength:

Fantastic bike with awesome handling. Haven't used my (Intense) full susser since buying the Hummer

Weakness:

None (except perhaps that the decals aren't that trick)

Handles a dream. Was very wary of going back to a HT but the Hummer has been getting awesome press in the UK so test rode one at my LBS (Two Wheels in Stourbridge). Fast, tracks true, takes a 4" fork, not superlight but extremely supple taking out a lot of trail buzz. Only rode it for an hour and a half before committing - and have now had it just over a year and would never part with it. The only thing that's pissed me off is they are now available disc specific

Craig   Cross-Country Rider [Sep 24, 1999]
Strength:

Nice roomy top-tube, lots of stand-over, likes to be tossed into corners. Very stable and takes abuse. Great dirty Ti finish, cool looks!! Built by Sandvik-designed for Canada-nicest bike I've ever ridden. The name!!

Weakness:

A little bit heavy-but not built to be light-a better frame than its rider!!

This frame rivals quality of a Brodie Sovereign or Expresso, and it rides so quick and predictable. Tougher trails aren't to be ridden smoothly-likes a rougher style of riding-toss it into corners etc. gotta luv the Cove-they designed it right the first time.....

Strength:

Fantastic frame for someone who is into a good, strong frame built around technical riding and that is designed to go the distance. High bottom bracket, short chain stays, long top tube. There's enough room in the rear triangle that you can run 2.7's back there!

Weakness:

You might wanna get something lighter if you're training for the Olympics.

If you have overcome your desire to get a 22LB cross country bike that falls apart every month and feels like a road bike everytime you get in the real technical stuff, if you're sick of chugging around on a 30lb aluminum full suspension rig that rides like junk, then embrace the concept of getting an awesome hardtail that RIDES like BUTTER. Coves got'em, they're not too expensive and it could well be your last bike you ever buy.
