Mine is a 2001 frame. It kicks ass. Stratos FR4 Mod 5.5 on front, DWides, Funn Fatboy Slim and Serial Killah, XT and LX and Hayes.
Complaint - climbing.. Why the hell am I climbing with a 43lb freeride bike anyhow? Answer = torture and bad decision making...

Weakness:

None... My lame climbing skills

Buy one. Great, canadian and badass!!

Strength:

super strong frameset.
plush suspension.
full hayes hydraulic disc.

Weakness:

wheelsets not strong enough (sun rhynolite suck ass).
freehub bodies lick pouch and cannot be upgraded to anything.

this bike kicks some serious-ass. not a great climber but who gives a cuz it more than makes up for it on the flats and the downhills. you can launch a five foot drop and it sucks it up like a slut on prom night. this is a great bike from a small hardcore westcoast bike co. b.c. bikes are the best in the world!!!

Strength:

This bike kicks some serious ass, it's a great flatlander free stylin and downhill bike.
this was my second bike and the only one that could hold up to jumps and ramps over 5"!

Weakness:

The only weaknesses were the climbing capabilities with it being 200 pounds that weighs you down going up steep hills the other weakness is it's stock componet cranckset I upgradeed to higher quality set for better pedaling but the rest is all original and runing like a dream

the bottom line is that this kick ass bike can hold its own plus some but when your ready for a serious downhill and freestyle bike come and look the devo up

Strength:

Its a Kick ass west coast built bike! ITs tough and light. (mine weights in at 39 lbs.) The Devo handles 5-6ft drops with ease, and kicks ass on the fast single track and dirt jumping.

Weakness:

The new Hayes brakes have a tacky friction fit plug where you bleed them from by the lever, it popped off and puked oil everywhere. I lost the plug and my front brake for the entire day. That sucked.

This bike is bomb proof. Its great to see a relatively small BC company pumping out such rock solid bikes. Go get yourself one.
