Strength:

Cheap! Very plush and linear thanks to coil/elastomer combo. No sticktion, responds instantly. The lockout is reliable. Even though it is a "lockout only" feature, the knob has 10 clicks which provide a sort of high-speed compression damping (not very linear, but works well enough). Beefy dropouts

Weakness:

It uses elastomers, and these can go soft over time. If you ride it hard, it will become too plush. And yes, that can be a bad thing since your bike will want to pitch you over the front end, especially on downhills during braking. A little bit flexy, probably not more or less than other forks in this range.

130mm of cushy travel, beefy stanchions, and a functional lockout - it leaves 20mm of travel but that's stiff enough for me. Much better than Tora lockout, which leaves too much travel. Can't compare to a Fox RLC lockout - that thing is like a brick wall.

Good for XC and some AM. Obviously not a DH fork, but it's simple and sturdy enough that you can at least pretend for a while before you destroy it.

Strength:

the lock out works great, lots of travel (i got the 130mm) haven't came close to bottoming them out yet and i weigh around 170.

Weakness:

i haven't noticed any differences when i fool around with the preload adjuster but it hasn't bothered me at all. im sure theres a way to do it.

i got these forks for cheap, and they work perfectly.i find that they're pretty plush. the lock out lets you adjust how stiff you want them so thats great. if you're into some street riding, or all mountain riding or maybe a few jumps, these are great forks, and for the price you cant go wrong.
