Weekend Warrior

Strength:

Looks good.

Weakness:

Performance and reliability. This fork behaved quite nice in the first year. Performance was not that bad. In the second year eveyrthing started to fall apart, leak etc. After rainy day water accumulates inside of the fork. Servicing it is pain in the.

Use it as long, as it works, than just throw it away and buy something real.

Strength:

none at all.

Weakness:

everything!! it bends forward going off a curb it cant handle anything except maybe some AM.i guess if you are a person who wants some shock then this is good for you. but if you like riding heavy then dont even consider this shock.

this is more like an RST CRAPA for heavier riders. but maybe for people who go around town only no curb hopping or anything.

Strength:

Its a great affordable part for a begginer.

Weakness:

Its very soft. You cant get much speed on a trail and if you do a very high jump your going to screw your suspension.

If your a beginer and arent planning on racing/downhill or hitting huge jumps its fine, if your looking for more i would reccomend a larger and heavier suspension.

Strength:

its a good shck for beginners and the stickers and design look pretty good

Weakness:

i cant always get it to 100 mm usally about 60 but if i put a lot of lube in it will work and jumpinging higher then 3-4ft it really hurts your wrists

its a good fork but i does have a few bad things about but ive had it for a year and it still hasent broken you just need to do regular maintence on it

Gordo Is AWSOME
Downhiller

Strength:

looks like it could be good

Weakness:

no travel, hardly any adjustments, crappy dampening system

this for is for those who dont care about riding and just do out every now and then...performance wise they destroy themselves...the bike im building is more or less for DJ's and i do more trials then anything so in the store thats what i have been doing. the fork is already loose on the connection between stauchion and the fork frame itself...and thats just from doing like...stalls against walls and stuff...its not meant for any riding i dont think...just to look like it can bassically

Strength:

easy riding
good for beginners

Weakness:

the travel sucks ass (60mm)!
is too soft for any decent trails

this frame is fair decent for anyone who has just gotten a bike and is aged 11 and up. it is not the best shock on the market but is good for urban riding and mild trails. It is absolute crap on the tough trails, the travel is so small that you can almost screw your shocks on a jump a foot high. Not recommended for anyonr who really knows what they are doing.

Strength:

It looks ok, not bad at all for beginner riders

Weakness:

Preload adjuster sometimes too tight and if you make it soft, it will bottommed out easily and I mean it.

For new mountain bikers, this is a good fork to start off but upgrade to either RockShox Tora 318 or Marzocchi MX Comp when you got the money, im choosing the MX comp as my next suspension

Weekend Warrior

Strength:

Preload adjustment, smooth travel. Can be set really firm.

Weakness:

Could use a bit more travel. One of the preload knobs became harder to turn than the other- ?

Good for weekend trail riders, but for more performance consider other brands.

Weekend Warrior

Strength:

cheap entry level shox, fairly hardy

Weakness:

not enough travel, cant take drops bigger than 4 ft

Get it if ure starting out, then upgrade later. don't bother gettin them if you are gonna do dirt jumping or dropping...more suited to XC.
