Strength:

Comfortable ride, adjustable seat post allows you to make changes quickly from one rider to an other. Disc brakes makes it really great for wet weather,

Weakness:

Front sprocket weak and pedals are small

I'd recommend this bike to anyone who wants a comfortable, reliable ride. A GOOD STARTER BIKE

Strength:

Good entry level mountain bike.

For the money, it was the best value (better components vs other bikes in its price range). Adjustable settings on suspension fork. Comfortable riding position.

Weakness:

None found yet.

I guess I am brand loyal. The old Norco took a beating for 10 years. B/C I live in Canada, the Norco is a better value vs some imported bikes from the US.

I was also looking at the Giant Boulder SE....pretty much the same setup for the same price (entry level mountain bike with adjustable front suspension) The Norco had an Alivio rear derailleur, while the Giant had Altus. The Norco is 24 speeds while the Giant has 21. I also felt the Norco was better to ride.

Hands down, the Norco is a good value, and a good bike to the average trail rider!

Well, to start off this site needs updates!! I'm 2 lazy to look for a place to post for newer bikes, but OK... I have a 2007! Anways, the shocks are OK, the don't bottom out(or i don't feel it) and i do 4 or 5 foot drops... The frame is good, light, the tires are good (especially in mud) plus there fast. Light, good for going up hills. The brakes (hayes mx-2 or seomthing) are pretty good, noisy and mechanical, but they can really stop u. the rims stand up.

Weakness:

The derailler(shimano Deore) is making funny noises after all of the drops, and one day about a week ago (ive had this biek for about 3 weeks) where my friend and i did probably every drop in the city (and believe there are LOTS of drops) the back wheel had been making funny noises and wobbles sometimes. nothing too serious, but i think ill have it looked at.

The 2007 is much better than its predacessors from what i can gather. i'm not sure exactly how dependable this biek is since ive only had it for about 3 weeks, but ive been riding it pretty much every day for about 3 hours of pretty intense riding, and everything's stood up well. good for popping and maneuvering. Good bike if u can't afford the better stuff. It might be a bit rougher because of the fork, btu that is reaplacable, and either way i don't mind it too much.Go for it. If you liek Downhill, SC, or urban, this is a good cheap bike that will do that job! (at least the 2007)

Strength:

the bike overall has a light frame, yet it has a really good frame for both freestyle street and trail.

Weakness:

i haven't found any weaknesses yet.

i think it's really good for people in my age (16) and budget, plus i know it won't break on my when i'm doing freestyling or on the trails taking drops or what not.

Strength:

cassette,saddle

Weakness:

fork-breaks off a 5 foot drop
rims, handle bars.

Not an entry level bike. not a bike for jumping.(doesn't matter how big they are) horrible for trails. Too weak for urbin. This bike is ment for a nice sunday cruise on pavement. Although norco makes awesome bikes, this ones weak.I'm 13 years old and 100 pounds and this bike can't take anything. This bike is for a 60 year old grandma who rides once a week.

This is really not a good bike
strenghts are the stem really really solid
the freewheel

Weakness:

frame
brakes
derailleurs
chain
shifters
wheels
hubs
fork sr suntour xc60 75 mm crap
cables
seat
pedals
cranks

This is a really bad bike .
my frame is near to break and the formula hub that came with the bike is broken.
ive changed the brakes because they were braking 1 time on 2.
it is really better to buy a bike that cost 1000 dollars now because i have placed nearly 1200$ in reparations and new pieces on this bike.

Strength:

Frame, Brakes, Stem hasn't broke yet.

Weakness:

Definately the rims, handlebars broke in half and i land on my neck on the stem. Forks are starting to mess up.

Decent but not for big anything. Good for the average teen/adult to bike around. Definately not for big air or urban bashings. My back rim taco'd off a 4 foot drop(not to flat). When bars broke and i hit neck full speed on stem, that really pissed my off. After that i upgrade to axioms with lifetime warrenty.
