Strength:

light, indestructible

Weakness:

price

This bike is well finished, as early model Litespeed/Lynsky frames were. Those who enjoy the Ti ride know the value of such a well-built machine. As with all frames, there are some items of note

- I have had no problems with the Cane Creek integrated headset, though I have pro-actively replaced the seal due to wear
- highly recommend replacing the original Rock Shox fork with a decent modern fork from Fox or Magura
- Lookout Mtn geometry favors those with a relatively long upper torso. great for toe clearance, slightly better descending than a short top-tube bike. not nearly as responsive or stiff (or harsh) as a Klein hardtail.
- disc brake only, which is the way it should be
- bottle cage nuts stripped out on my frame, not a big deal, but not anticipated either.
- weight and vibration damping and stiffness probably eclipsed by modern carbon frames, but Ti wins huge points for damage tolerace. if you can afford it, a well-fitting Ti bike is a great choice to have for epic tours.

Strength:

very well balanced frame, extreme acceleration, smooth in DH, beautifull, light, etc.

Weakness:

frame sometimes seams to support disc-brake vibrations

first time I rode this bike, I thought I was riding on clouds. Ti is so different to Al. Rode a dam sledgehammer all this years... Yet the Lookout is very fast accelerating, stiff where it needs to be. Bike weight is 10.4 kg / 19'frame. Not bad for a disc-brake bike, I think. Bike climbs like a rocket. Downhill is much easier, extremly good "self-controll". Perfect craftmanship, nice details. All in all, it's a dream of a bike. It's expensive but worth the money if you ride frequently.

The bike is sh*te, and I'd feel fooled having spend zillions on a "bike" like that.

NB: It looks ridicules with Crossmax rims!

Strength:

Light, strong, stiff, gorgeous finish.acceleration of alu, but with buzz absorption you get with ti. Climbs like a goat. No canti bosses.

Weakness:

integrated headset limits choices, nothing else.

Absolute dream bike, I weigh 235 lbs and there is no flex, frame is under 4 lbs but solid as a rock. Best bike I've owned and I've had some classics. Unfortunately just written the frame off in accident involving bike, car, car park height barrier and me! This frame is no longer available, so I've replaced with Merlin. Shame they stopped building it, it was A1. RIP..... PS did I mention no canti mounts ;)

Strength:

Super XC frame, very smooth "Ti" ride, very forgiving.
Stronger then alu, 7020 T6. Beautiful Frame Finish

Weakness:

Cane Creek integrated bearings, King would be a beter option. Unfortunaly King perido is not available.
I use a R.S. SID team fork, the Fork Crown is when turned on its max touching te lower tube of the bike, we've customised the airvalve cap,The lockout is still touching the tube, Fk. About the XTR crankset Bearings, Wearout after 100 Km. ? Poor surface Finish. Sticky rearcaliper. EC 70 Handlebars, no waranty after mounting side bars! Availability off Litespeed Headbadge/Transfersets in the Netherlands.

Great bike.

Strength:

It's a Litespeed, Titanium, Rides great decends great and climbs like a mountain goat.

Weakness:

None

This is thee best hardtail I have ridden the Titanium is very tough. It is nice to ride a hardtail that is not race specific the geometrey is very comfortable, it decends and climbs great with minimal effort. I would recomend this bike to anyone with a bottomless wallet and who has a love for Titanium and just the best hardtail money can buy.
