Strength:

beautiful frame, very responsive, intelligent design features

Weakness:

by today's standards, this older frame had limited fork options and is a bit heavier than the latest wunderbikes. This frame didn't originally have a disc brake option (now it does). Not cheap.

On the local trails, i loved the handling on flatter terrain but soon used up all the suspension travel i had. Downhill was twitchy, as any hardtail XC would be. All in all, a superb machine for its designed purpose.

Strength:

It is very light and very strong. Its frame holds up in extremely rough trails. I've raced once and place 2nd of 45.

Weakness:

It has bad braking systems, as well as derailers. I replaced the brakes and derailers. And now its working perfectly.

I wouldnt but another one. Insted i'd try to jus get a frame. Its a great bike but it has crappy bells and whistles. If your a pro-mtn biker i woulnt suggest it.
