Strength:

Super Durable, active suspension, sealed pivots, and most importantly- CANADIAN Eh!!!

Weakness:

Wimpy stock fork.(psylo)

Great value for a handbuilt Canadian bike. Would definitely recommend it. Not for people who like to go uphill but scream down.

Strength:

Suprising performance out of a less expensive suspension bike. Solid parts right down to the hubs. Very few, if any, generic parts used.

Weakness:

The Steel Braided hydro cable for the brakes was a bad choice, as it split on one of the first rides on this bike. Once replaced, the bike is a solid and reliable performer.

I enjoyed the ride of this bike very much, and only had one problem with it. The Steel braided brake cable should be replaced, as it has proven to be not as durable on several of our rental bikes. Other then that the bike had an excellent ride for the money.

Strength:

solid frame, deraillers, wheelset

Weakness:

psylo xc fork, steel braided brake cables

Bike is great. the biggest problem is the psylo fork. it's too soft, bottoms too easily. i blew the seals and now its leaking oil everywhere. also, the brake cables split and spilled hydraulic fluid. these 2 things are gonna cost me about 100 bucks to fix, thats 100 bucks furthr from a new fork. The hayes comp levers suck. one of the rear pivots keeps coming loose, i have to tighten it after every ride. one more thing. the stock shock is too soft. i had to tighten the preload ring a lot to get it right. After i upgrade it with the levers, jrt and rotors its going to be awesome. worth buying and upgrading.

Strength:

Frame, brakes, wheelset.

Weakness:

Psylo psucks, I weigh 200 + and this fork bottoms out on the smallest hucks. Deore Hubs are weak and will only last one season max.

Buy this bike if you need a good all around free ride, occassional aggressive cross country bike. Frame is bombproof, I have already been through two framesets this year (Jamis and Sugar) but the Devinci feels solid. The front shock sucks, Devinci should put a different shock that matches the bikes usage and charge more money. Bottom line is buy this bike if you are on a budget and need a good all around bike.

Strength:

Its gota strong, lite frame.. the components are pretty good, and its lite enough that i can actually ride up the mountain

Weakness:

umm...the bolts holding the swing arm toghether arent very strong, but it works

this is pretty sick little shreder, you can use it on technical trails, or you can put a bigger fork on it and huck

Strength:

almost eveything, brakes are killer, supension is great, most of all, handmade Canadian quality!!!

Weakness:

don't know, haven't broke anything yet

This is my first full suspension bike, I am in love. I know I made a good choice with the Magma. The components used on this bike are all great, it is ready for a beating! Having a blast in the spring dirt and mud! I think this is a great bike for anyone who doesn't want to drop huge money on a DH bike, but wants a versatile freeride bike that can crank it up when you want to.

Strength:

Very solid parts spec, good ride, not bad at peddaling up hill for a heavy bike, great bike for the money.

Weakness:

Steel braided brake cable brakes quickly, rear cassette could use a 34 tooth instead of the 32 for such a big bike.

This is a great bike for the money. I was not a big fan of the fork that came on it, however this bike doesn't require a double crown to be bombproof. I would ask your LBS what they will do WHEN the hydro cable on the brakes snaps and spews fluid all over the pads and rotors. Very solid feel on the downhills, and feels better climbing and DHing then my Bullit did. They claim 5.75 in of travel, but according to the rep, it's actually 5.9 in, not that it matters. (first company to underestimate travel) I would reccomend this bike to anyone who is looking to save money on a freeride style bike, but still get something solid, rideable, and worth upgrading the components on.
