K Whattup?   Cross Country Rider [Oct 16, 2000]
Strength:

Comfortable & they Pockets pockets pockets
Can still wear them after you ride and walk into a store without everyone staring at your crotch.

Weakness:

Not as light as typical bike shorts but who cares?

I like 'em better than the Swobo Cargo shorts, but not by much. They're durable and comfortable and they make your butt feel like it's sitting on rose petals.

Dirt Sled   Weekend Warrior [Sep 04, 2000]
Strength:

Look Ok..
Cool for Summer..
comfy to wear...
Padding that doesn't look like an adult nappy >;-{P=
They dry really quick.. (mid ride swimming is an option)

Weakness:

Padding may look good.. but doesn't offer as much protection as my Nema's
Material SEEMS thin.. (we'll see)

Good duds for summer if you can handle the Sh1tmano logo..
I don't know how well they will handle sliding on gravel though...
They have a nice cut (the reason I picked them) and do not restrict you while still being just baggy enough to do what you want on the bike....

tom   Cross Country Rider [Feb 26, 2000]
Strength:

Comfortable, durable, Stylin, durable, Baggy

Weakness:

If you don't wash em they stink real bad (but you wash your shorts after every ride, don't you?)

I really like these shorts. They are very comfortable, the inner liner is cool (as in not too hot) the chaimos is a nice soft spot for some of the more important things in life to rest on, and they are really tuff. I havn't ripped or tore mine yet, and they've seen their fair share of the ground. They don't have any padding, so they won't help if you impale you leg on a tree stump, but at least you won't get nasty road (dirt?) burn on your thighs, and won't have to replace em every time you fall. Plus, being baggies, they look cool and you don't have to be ashamed to wear em while biking to the store or anything. wow, they also say XTR on em. the only thing is, no short is worth $100 canadian.

cooldaddy   Cross-Country Rider [Sep 24, 1999]
Strength:

Great fit. Comfortable, not too baggy that it interferes with technical riding.
Doesn't look dorky baggy!

Weakness:

Shell not tagged to liner at bottom of legs.

My first baggy short and I love um. They are not too big, something that really concerned me about baggy shorts. Being a traditional lycra person it was a big change but I ride in these short all the time. Just ordered another pair! These shorts may not be as totally technical and baggy as some of the other baggy shorts but for me they work, especially in combination with some new jerseys (loose/baggy).
