Strength:

fit, lightweight, low stack, right amount of stiffnes and flex

Weakness:

they're not free

Always appreciated the durability of shimano shoes but the dynalast fit is a whole new level! I have a low volume foot with narrow heel, but these are snug and wonderful. Much more room in the toe box than other narrow shoes like sidi or mavic. There's also a wide version available. I might buy a few more pairs, they're that good. Sole is stiff but there's plenty of flex in the toe for walking, and, unlike my previous higher end shimano shoes, the mid foot sole is covered in a thin layer of rubber so its not as slippery as bare plastic or carbon

I've been wearing Shimano clipless shoes since the mid 90s, and these are by far the best pair I've ever owned. The straps are very secure, especially the lower two cross-directional velco straps, and keep my feet planted in the shoe. Ventilation is great, and the lugs are grippy on wet rocks. These shoes just scream quality! The tongues on these shoes don't slip and stay right where they're supposed to, unlike other Shimano clipless shoes I've owned in the past. Highly recommended. Excellent value for the price.
