    Strength:

Well they fit nice, but that's no never-mind if the strap is broken!

    Weakness:

Ratchet for top strap pulls out of mounting.

Nice shoe and and a nice fit but, was designed with a weak link that is destine to fail early in the shoes life. Ratchet Assembly is poorly anchored to the shoe and will pull out of its mounting after minimal usage... I will try to revive with quantities of Shoe Glue, but not holding out much hope...

    Strength:

    Good value/quality ratio
    Looks
    Very light

    Weakness:

the sole´s stifness loosens after @6 months
Its not protective enough (would make it heavier)

Well priced shoe, looks good and very light. Fully recommend it for XC

    Strength:

    nice looking comfy shoe

    Weakness:

Adidas customer care, the centre strap snapped within half a dozen rides, the shoes were in mint condition otherwise, adidas didnt want to know even though i sent them back to them for inspection they just said it was normal wear and tear. As i have said there a nice looking comfy shoe but have obvious weeknesses, the ratchet is flimsy and the material that the straps are made out of is thin. Be warned these are not good shoes and as for Adidas i would have expected much better service and quality of goods. There attitude stinks.

Dont buy any Adidas product particularliy mountain bike shoes stick to the company's that know best about cycling.
