Strength:

Looks good. Comfortable fit. Has features of higher priced helmets.

Weakness:

Rear suspension seems a bit flimsy. But so far so good

Worn this off and on for a while now. Provides protection down the back of the head but not as much as say the Fox or POC. Half the price of those helmets though so a good trade off a a budget-minded weekend warrior.

Strength:

Price, weight, looks, feel, did I say value?, ventilation

Weakness:

Fit, sweat retention, ratchet dial,

This helmet has been an insane value. I bought it for $15 but for $50 it's a great helmet. The looks and the feel are great. The one thing it could use it proper dial for the retention system. The clutch this helmet has is annoying. It can't get tight enough and on bumpy trails the helmet can move. Not fun. The foam pads inside the helmet come with bug netting which is great, but they don't absorb sweat very well so it is a constant battle to rub sweat out of my eyes. I'm not a huge sweater and even on mid-70 degree days the pads just don't absorb the sweat. Even while rinsing the helmet off the pads feel dry. My previous helmet had to be replaced and the price I just couldn't pass up on this one. Would I get it again? Yes, only for the price I paid not the regular $50. I'd rather spend the extra money to get a good retention dial and pads. If you ride more paved surfaces or really light off road than this helmet is great. If you are a seasoned mountain biker than spend a bit more and get another helmet.

Strength:

Features (fit system, molding, bug net) for the price
Price
Very sharp looking helmet
Build quality is fantastic

Weakness:

Hard to find locally, have to roll the dice online for fit and comfort which are very personal.
Not as good at venting than more expensive helmets

I picked this helmet up after price match at universal cycles for $38; at that price there are hardly enough decent helmets, let alone one of this quality with this many features which passes safety requirements. I get asked about where I got this helment and how much I paid for it pretty frequently, as it's not very common amongst a sea of Bell Variants, Giro Xar, and Fox Flux. Those other helmets might be slightly better at venting and cooler looking, but they cost 2x. There is probably no better helmet for less than $50 on the market right now.
