Ergon HE2 Gloves

Downhill gloves don't have to be so burdened with technical gadgetry that you lose sensation of the bars. That defeats the purpose, we think. Rather, Ergon builds their HE2 Gloves to withstand the rigors of extreme riding, yet allow you to feel the grips. They're intended to coordinate with their GE1 grips, a more traditional styled grip in comparison to their wing shape grips. They're designed, like these HE2 Gloves, for more technical all-mountain riding that demands greater mobility as you sit, stand, and shift your weight around on the bike to descend gnarly trails.Like the HA2 gloves, these HE2 Gloves have thin padding in strategic areas to increase comfort, but not so much to cause distraction or loss of sensitivity. There's also a Kevlar insert on the outside of the palm to provide serious crash protection in the event of an unplanned dismount. The difference is that, here, the palms get an added layer of material around the Kevlar panel to further the abrasion resistance. For the same purpose, the back of the hand and all four fingers have a layer of the synthetic micro-fiber material. And where the HA2 gloves use a simple velcro tab closure, these HE2 Gloves have a wrap-around elastic wrist strap, secured with velcro. The Ergon HE2 Gloves are Black w/white and are available in six sizes from X-Small to XX-Large. They're ideal for use with Ergon's GE1 all-mountain grips.
