Strength:

Super light, ventilated

Weakness:

The upper arm pads could be better...

When you downhill on it you can hardly tell it's there.

None so far...

The product already saves me from hard impacts during our weekend downhill escapades. I highly recommend this product to downhillers who are looking for a body armour at a cheap price but big in performance.

Strength:

Weight, protection, air flow, price

Weakness:

It seems a little short in the back

The few times I have worn this protector(usually when temps are hovering around 90) it has performed just fine. It does allow noticable airflow around the torso when riding, which is welcomed relief considering the full face sauna you're wearing on your head. I've had the opportunity to smack a few trees while wearing the protector and it has held up very well (Why do the trees grow so close together up here in the Northeast?). Anyway, I prefer the pressure suit for racing, since I feel affords better overall protection than the Defender. But for general play in the woods the sixsixone defender chest protector is more than adequate.

Weakness:

On the future put protection on shoulder-upper arms joints and articulated spine column.

Perfect for Freeride or downhill, not for Big Drops.
