Strength:

Cheap, stiff crank.

Weakness:

Maybe bottom bracket, but have only ridden for a month.

Easy installation, just make sure to torque down to specs and check after some rides. The BB and crank arm bolt loosened up, but I'm a big guy at 6'2" and 210 lbs. My only complaint is that the chainring bolts were not loctited on and the chainring bolts started to creak after a hundred miles. Come on Raceface loctite is cheap!

Strength:

Stiff, simple installation

Weakness:

pedal washers! Not the lightest thing out there.

A good deal; I read other reviewers kvetching about the included bottom bracket loosening up, but if your BB shell has been faced properly and you've correctly installed the cups with the right tools and torqued them to manufacturer's specs...I can't possibly see how anything could get loose. So duh. So far everything still spins smoothly with zero maintenance. Chain Ring wears pretty quick, but that's aluminum's problem, and rings are relatively cheap. At 995 grams, they're pretty heavy compared to other SS cranks, but the price is right.

All in all, a great deal on a reasonably well made crankset for the value-minded XC rider.
