Hardtail Fool

Strength:

Price, great shifting, durability.

Weakness:

Jockey wheels in the rear mech seem to be wearing faster with this chain. Could also just be my imagination.

I had been a fan of Sram chains for years with no reason to switch. Needed a chain one day during a regular service interval on my commuter and the shop was out of all Sram 9 speed except the high end ones. With some skepticism, I tried this one out. I liked it enough that I put one on my winter training road bike and finally, this spring my race hardtail. I have not had any issues with shifting, skipping or them wearing out prematurely. In fact, I seem to get more life out of them than the Sram chains.
It seems to shift and preform well on my race hardtail too which is a mix of 9 speed and 10 speed parts.
