Strength:

Keeps good, straight track of the chain. Does not come loose.

Weakness:

Could use better rollers, other than that, nothing.

When set up properly this chain guide works like a charm, It keeps my chain on even on the rough. I don't see why everyone complains about noise level, mine is relatively quiet, it also makes a nice noise :).

This product gets 4 burning roadies out of 5 because it could have used better rollers to make it a tad more smoother.

Strength:

Price and weight.

Weakness:

Reliability, noise

This is a cheap solution if you need a chainguide, however, if you are going to be racing, do not, I repeat, DO NOT rely on this for your race.
Somehow, the chain can slip off the chain ring. It only hapenned twice with me, and one of those times, at the race.

Strength:

Keeps the chain on the chainring when it feels like it.

Weakness:

you think the world is ending with the noise and vibration coming from that thing.

The Truvative Hussefelt Chainguide works but it's niose and vibration makes it so irritating it makes you not want to ride. I suggest anyone save up and buy a better chainguide until Truvative puts out another product.

Sasquatch   Cross Country Rider [Aug 08, 2001]
Strength:

Cheep.

Weakness:

Plastic rollers are easy to break at the slightest mishap. Chain loves to jump the track when in the ruff stuff. It needs an additional guide on the ring to hold the chain in place.

Spemd some more money, and get what you pay for.

Strength:

Cheap

Weakness:

This thing is not good. Rollers are horrible' and the brackets bend. Can cause ugly mishaps unless precisely dialed. Be careful.

Dont be stoner and leave it mal-adjusted. Rig some quiet device for the rollers and be sober when you adjust it to your ring. It will be satisactory.
You go ride happy now.

bye

Strength:

Keeps the chain on a lil while.

Weakness:

Everything. After a few days of abuse it weakens. Loks beffy, but it bends. I was pedaling, chain came off, and i was still pedaling and it bent to poop... NEVER BUY THIS. CRAP!!! Spend a lil more and buy something a bit better.

It is crap. Do not buy this. It will keep the chain on a while. Hard to set up, bends, not a good chain guide. I hate this chainguide. Do not buy this.
