Strength:

Fairly light, keeps the chain on the ring as it should, adjustablity.

Weakness:

Lacks the ability to mount a taco

This guide is good for a rider who is nice to their chainrings or bashguard. Not being able to mount the taco could put you in a position to really mess up your chain, which could jam your drivetrain. I use this guide for downhill racing. I'd steer clear if you're going to do any type of freeriding with thuis guide, but I'd buy one in a hurry if you're trying to build a light DH race bike on a budget.
