Downhiller
Strength:
Light weight but ultra strong guide, good build and quality, never loses the chain, pretty much as advertised, more spacers than you'll ever need
Weakness:
looks (i personally like it, but some dont like its simple looks), availability (the LG1+ is in high demand right now), there are cheaper things out there Its an excellent chain guide, its simple, and works as advertised. The guide may not appeal to those that like the more simplified look of abash guard but to each his/her own. As far asset up goes its just a hassle to get the shims set up just right, but after that its smooth riding. One issue id like to address is if you have a wide chain ring, like the one that comes with the azonic nitro be prepared for some rubbing. I had bend the back plate to help center out the top. Other than that its a great product, good value, and overall outstanding.

Racer
Strength:
Light weight, sheds mud, doesn't fail
Weakness:
None when used and installed correctly This guide is great! Perfect for everyday riding, 4 cross and light downhill duty. I almost prefer not to run the taco when downhilling. The reason being, the taco is designed to absorb light to medium impacts. Because it is mounted to the guides back plate, when it endures a significant impact, it has may deflect some of that energy to the back plate, possibly leaving you with a bent back plate. If big impacts are in the forecast go with the SRS system. Similar Products Used: MRP system 2 |

Strength:
Simple, works like it's supposed to
Weakness:
Didn't come with the Taco A very smooth running guide that keeps the chain in place. Kind of a drag to get stuck buying the taco separately. Similar Products Used: MRP guides, Mr Dirt, Blackspire, other E-13 stuff.. |

Strength:
holds the chain, very light
Weakness:
looks kinda funky, expensive holds the chain how its supposed to. if your chain ring gets slightly bent this guide is super annoying and the chain rubs the top part and slows you down a ton. but if your cranks are running smooth the guide should work perfect Similar Products Used: e13 drs and srs |

Strength:
- light weight!
Weakness:
- no sprocket protection, but that's not the reason i bought it. so, i will say it has no weaknesses so far This is an awesome guide if you are looking to shed some body fat. It keeps your chain where you want it and looks great while doing so. |
