Strength:

Makes you climb easier than with an 11-34.

Not expensive.

Weakness:

Not very light, but strong.

Everything wear out. So do you.

25 degree climbs are not so painfull that it is necessary to walk up.

344km with 5.2 km up and just as much down again last week.

11-32 and 11-34 cassettes, lighter and more fragile.

Weakness:

you get what u pay for...and more

this cassette is intended for those people who like going up as well as down.this review is for the 12-36t which in my opinion gives you that extra edge which can only be found on other highend cassettes like sram XX, but it will last longer.this cassette is intended to have fun with not to race.unless you are a true racer get this cassette and enjoy your ride.

Strength:

Low Price, Smooth shifting, looks good when clean!

Weakness:

Weight,Rusts, Higher gear rings wear out fast.

Was a great cassette during the first bit of the season. The higher range cassette rings (7-9; smaller ring gears) wore out super fast. This caused the chain to jump upon heavy acceleration. Considering that its my GF that rides the bike 98% of the time and is in no way a hardcore rider, I not impressed with the quality or strength of this cassette. Switching to a Sram!

Strength:

The 36 is awesome on the super steep climbs. Let's the 29er do its thing without spinning out.

Weakness:

Heavier than race cassettes, but who cares when you can climb everything.

This cassette came with my bike. At first I thought it was overkill, but after riding it on some super steep sections and cleaning them I was a believer. The extra 2 teeth let the 29er become a rock crawler and you can clean just about anything in a steep uphill if you have the lungs to power through it.

Strength:

Very stiff, durable, soft shifting, nice color

Weakness:

A little heavy (382 grs or so)

The most affordable price/quality cassette so far. Really good, it resisted a lot of kinds of chains and bad use while shifting. Pretty good! Maybe if you want something lighter the SLX is a better choice.
