Strength:

PRICE!

Weakness:

SHARP EDGES!

awesome deal. people don't realize that weyless usually offers a darn good product. even if it's not the best you still cant beat the price! just got an mt-4 stem off ebay for 9 bucks including shipping. i was the only bidder! as others mentioned before, the sharp edges on these things are brutal to the knee, but that's the only weakness. i'm happy to see it has some heft, means it'll stay strong!

This is a good stem for DH or Freeride. Its a good cheap upgrade for your bike. It's the best deal out there for a DH stem.

Strength:

CHEAP! Stiff, Beefy

Weakness:

HEAVY

This thing is for drops, hucks, and just plain abuse. It's heavy, but you should expect that if you plan on buying it. It works. What you see is what you get. And DANG! That price!!!

Strength:

Price is right
Very strong

Weakness:

A little on the heavy side
Sharp edges on top plate are dangerous.

I bought this stem because it was the cheapest I could find in this length. I was very happy with it until I had a bad crash while jumping a log pile. My knee landed on the sharp edge of the stem and gave me a nasty gash. This stem has sharp edges all around the top plate right where you are likely to hit it if you crash. If you buy one, tape some foam around the edges for safety. I wanted to send an E-mail to the company suggesting they round the edges a bit, but they don't even have a website.

Strength:

Strong, looks good, great value

Weakness:

none

You get a lot for what you pay for. It's very strong and takes a lot of abuse. If you're looking for a short stem, this is the right one.

Strength:

Nice looking. Well made. Strong. Stiff

Weakness:

Ugly Weyless Logo. I needed to put something bad about it.

Great stem for the money. Was going to get Azonic, but it costs almost three times more. This one may not look as fancy, but it looks just as good.

Strength:

-Low Price
-Quality finish

Weakness:

-Weyless is a silly name and has an ugly logo

This stem is a great buy. It's a quality heavy build and I have no complaints about it's performance. It's solid and does the job without any flex. The paint finish is on par with other similar cnc'd designs out there. Weyless is a silly name IMO, but that's just a superficial rant.
For the record, this is a review for the 45mm size. I don't have any issues with buyng Supergo Weyless house brand stuff because they subcontract parts manufacturer that make parts for other fancy name brands.

Strength:

-nice bar placement
-low price
-stiff

Weakness:

-nothing major
-the corners of the front clamp should be rounded off a bit

The 80mm length provides a nice compromise between pedaling efficiency and control in techical terrain. It has also taken some decent hits without complaint. It may not be as pretty as some of its competition, but it works well-and it's cheap.

Strength:

PRICE! for 25 bones this is a great deal.

Weakness:

Weight, it is on the heavy side (I have the longer 110mm{i think}) and it is kind of porky, but not out of reason for what it is designed for.

Great deal on a good stem. If you are rough on equipment or need the strenght it seems up to the task. If weight is a concern look elsewhere.
