Strength:

Great price

Weakness:

Not match maker compatible
Need long thumbs
Shifts are not consistent

Well I have been a SRAM fanboy for a very long time. So I decided to try the new Box drivetrain just to try it out. No real problems with the derailleur. But the shifter is kinda driving me nuts. First off the shifter is not matchmaker compatible so it looks weird to me and takes up more bar room.

Secondly, since the shifter sits in a certain spot. You have to make sure your thumb is long enough to down shift. You have to get it just so to make sure you can push in the lever to downshift. Waiting for the new model to come out to see if it is any better.

Lastly, the shifting is very very vague on the upshift. You cannot really tell if its shifting up fully. It feels like a half shift most of the time. Not like the SRAM, you can feel the shift happening.
