Strength:

Stiff, strong post

Weakness:

The saddle clamp shifts frequently, even after tightening the bolts to the max. To paraphrase another reviewer: If you hit any bumps get out of the saddle, otherwise it'll shift position.

If you're going to stay on the road I'm sure this product will do the trick. If you plan jumping curbs or riding off road, better upgrade to something more solid.

Strength:

It looks cool. Easy, fast saddle install.

Weakness:

Seat Clamp weak for MTB. Saddle like to tilt. I have worked on it and tightened it, but it still will make a noise: "crack" and the saddle tilt will be off. Annoying when out on the trail. No other problems, but I wish the saddle rail clamps were stronger.

It ok, but you have to be sure you aren't in the saddle through a dip, or other hit that would move the tilt of the saddle. I am only 170 lbs. there are better posts out there!

Strength:

looks

Weakness:

Seat clamp, carbon wrap.

The seat clamp must be extremely tightened to hold the seat in place and the carbon wrap has cracked the length of the post. Buy a Thomson Masterpiece for peace of mind and about thirty grams less weight!

Andrew Nguyen   Cross Country Rider [Dec 20, 2006]
Strength:

- Simple one bolt clamp design
- Easy to use clamp design
- +/- 20 Degree tilt
- Aluminium core for Extra crushing resistance
- Not difficult to install saddle

Weakness:

- None so far

Great seatpost. Single bolt clamp mechanism makes installing the seatpost a breeze. Single mechanism also makes saddle adjustments easy to use as well.

Aluminium core is definitely crush resistant and carbon construction takes the harshness out of the terrain.

Retails for $150AU but got it for $68AU off ebay.

Strength:

Seems to be really strong. I have wrecked 3 times so far, no breaks, no twisting in the clamp. I weigh 250 lbs.

Great

At 100 dollars this seat post seams to be comparable to others around the same price and weight.
