Available At:
612 Ergowave

The 612 Ergowave was specifically designed to accomodate the requirements of both competetive and leisure cyclists both on the road or mountainbike. The wave-like shape and raised rear section provides perfect rearward support and an optimal pressure distribution which reaches deep into the body structures resulting in improved power transmission. The lowered nose in combination with the dip provides optimal pressure relief for the perineal area. The flat but slim SQlab MaxContact® saddle nose and the firm padding of the 612 were both specifically designed for the needs on the roadbike.

~ Hightail design with extra padding nails-down comfort
~ Easy to slip behind saddle
~ Wide, longer nose boosts seated climbing efficiency
~ Center relief indentation simply works
~ Weighs only 188g for 14cm wide saddle
~ Tough, Cordura tail fabric resists tearing and scuffing

Saddles is a subjective matter, due to varying personal dimensions. Once I learned my skinny butt actually needed a 148mm wide saddle... the hunt for the perfect perch was on. I exhaustively sampled every known make, from all the OEM saddles to the very best Italian race ones. When the dust settled nine months later... the SQLab Ergowave ti-railed saddle emerged as the surprise winner, amongst all the premium carbon fiber bling.

This saddle never once gave me numbness, or sores. In fact, I can now completely FORGET about my azz and focus solely on the riding. Best sub-$100 I ever spent...
