Strength:

Keeps your butt off the seatpost.

Weakness:

Ouch... oh never mind I'm numb now....

This stupid seat... good hell. No sear under 400grms could really be described as comfortable, but come on. Twenty minutes on an otherwise sweet steel ride and then total numbness. So I took it off my Bonte Race and threw it into the leftover parts bin to collect dust and spiderwebs with stuff like Shimano 7 speed rapidfire shifters from three frames ago. Then some a--hole decides to rip the, get this, Kalloy Uno post and used Vetta TT off my commuter (an old Cross bike I hang my old mountain parts on and use to get save gas). So I order a new seatpost (I hope the upstanding citizen who stole it enjoys the 26.0 size, try and find a frame to fit the post dickweed). And decided to put the Bontrager saddle on the cross bike until I can find one I like. You would never believe it. The stupid saddle that numbed places that should never be numbed while riding a mountain bike is perfect on the cross bike. Best seat of the four or so I have had on it. Half centuries, and no problems. Maybe it is angle or something. Anyway If you still have this thing and hate it try it on a different ride, it might just work.

this seat blows
the gel insert stays compressed when you take youi butt off the seat.
the stiches that surround the insert stay raised and it feels like your sitting on channel iron. the idea is good but they dropped the ball
the regular bontrager saddle is way better. wtb is supposed to come out with a gel saddlesee ya

Strength:

Looks, Well made. Looks really fast and cool.

Weakness:

It hurts me! Looks can be deceiving.

I tried to get used to it. But the thing just kills me. I get numb after about 6 miles. I tried adjusting my position on the bike, but no luck, just a sore ass. Who designed this thing????

Strength:

Excellent value and well made. Looks impressive and the colors matched my bike!

Weakness:

Could be lighter.

I had real concern buying this seat. Everything I had read said it was an uncomfortable design. How wrong for me! This seat is excellent! I have ridden many different seats over the years and have a stable of Flites. I didn't know that a seat could be more comfortable. It is. This just goes to show that from a comfort perspective - don't bother with reviews and comments (although it seems Flite's shape is a safe if not the best choice for many).

Strength:

Price, looks

Weakness:

Comfort - it's just not perfect -- but is any saddle?

I am surprised by all the complaints about this saddle. It's not perfect, but I don't get numb or am not in pain after 3-9 hour rides. What more can you ask for. I do have a pretty narrow butt, though. So, it might not work for riders with bigger tushes.

Strength:

Looks, and that's about it.

Weakness:

everything besides the look. Very uncomfortable

I thought I could get used to it, but I have never been more wrong. I have given it some time, but I still find that it hurts my ass way too much. Saddle came with my bike, Joshua F3, and good thing. If i was to pay a dime for it I would have returned it as soon as I sat on it. Men, don't ride longer than 20 minutes or you'll run the risk of not having little rug rats to call your own.

Strength:

Light, comfortable once you get used to it.

Weakness:

It is uncomfortable when you first use it. Yes, it is painful, but after a few rides, and enough calluses build up on your ass, and it is a good product.

I bought this seat for 20 buck in the bargain box (slightly used). Once you get used to it, it will be fine.

Strength:

not this saddle

Weakness:

hard as a rock, flimsy, a stupid saddle.

this saddle brings out the worst memory. i remember taken my first ride on this seat, and i could never get it adjusted just right were i can be comfy on it. in fact, i never been comfy on this piece of rock. i felt like a big wedge was shoved up my crack and gave me a tight wedgie that just won't quit. i figure i just give it a few weeks and maybe i can get use to it after i break it in. well, it ever happened, i think it gotten harder. i finally trashed it and got myself a flite ti and my butt began to function normally again. the flite is a wonderful saddle. as for this bontrager, it is made for people who don't have a butt crack and like sitting on rocks. get a real saddle like a flite. if u happen to be get a bike that comes with this seat lol, do ur butt a favor and burn it. enjoy ur rides yaaaa...

Strength:

nice looking, price

Weakness:

hard, too narrow

The seat is too narrow for my rear. I am not a huge-butted guy, but this one doesn't seem to catch enough rear to keep the seat from crawling upward. If it flared a bit more in the back, it would work great. the gel seems to give nicely.

Strength:

Looks comfortable

Weakness:

Can't get it wet!

For the first six months I really enjoyed this saddle. It's easy to get behind on a down hill and quite comfortable. Now since it has gotten older, it adsorbs water, and the gel turns into a hard lump. Usually, the first 10 miles are comfortable, but after that it's chaff city.
