There are minor gripes. Always need to be wary of barends on tight trails - they do tend to prune foliage! Always end rides with plantlife jammed at base of barends, but no big deal. Using their bar plugs, and as a result, can't fit supplied end caps, so look a little ugly, Would also love caps to go over locking screw holes. Minor points only!

Beautiful grips well worth trying. Noticeable advantage of having support under palms, and hands and writs feel better for it after longer rides. Need to spend extra time getting positioning right. It won't be right first go - give them time! I have big hands (usually L to XL in gloves), and bought the smaller sized grips on advice. I reckon they're perfect. You'd need to be King Kong or have Marfan Syndrome to need the bigger size. I bought white ones, which look awesome (and scored for $60 - 5 chilis at this price, but pricey at retail of $120!). Will be interesting to see how they look in a year or two! I am using them with carbon bars (naughty!), but have their LS-100 bar plugs in-situ and used an accurate torque wrench to fit. Make sure you do this! If you are after bar ends (and I highly recommend them for single speeding!), along with new grips, these are fantastic. They just take some getting used to. I may get some for my geared bike!
