Strength:

ride, strength, geometry, component package, durability, best looking team jersey on the marketIMO

Weakness:

I hate yellow. wish it looked like the jersey(no yellow)

I reviewed this bike when it was new and am back to say I still agree with the first review and wish to add the durabilty has been awesome. I get it muddy it doesnt skip a beat. I get caught in a downpour and ride 5 miles in pouring rain on a sandy trail system,no problems. the more I ride it ,the more I like it. I put over 300 miles on it in the last few months of last year and have well over 300 this year so far and it still rides like it is new and still amazes me when I try new things. this bike is definetly "all " from fast to stunts, to 2' air on a fast downhill. it feels like Im at one with the trail and forget how long or far Ive actually ridden

Strength:

Strong going up and down hills. Very strong frame which is good for big guys like me.

Weakness:

35lb frame makes it a little heavier than other bikes, but it's still manageable. You only notice the weight at the end of a long ride and on a steep hill.

This bike is incredibly fun to ride. The 5" clearance on the front brakes can get reduced to 3" for those steep uphills, and you sure notice the difference. I've had it for 6 months and have abused it a lot- no problems so far. It's also got a lot of clearance between tires and frame, so it eats mud up very well. I've taken it through a lot of sloppy mud and it comes through with shining colors (in performance, not in looks).

Strength:

price,fit,component package,not made in China

Weakness:

no longer available in the US

awesome. Ive never had any of these new fangled air, coil shock, needle bearing,9 speed, all mountain type things before so its some getting used to.it takes all I can give it and says is that it? the SPV, and whatever Fox calls their pedaling efficiency valving is great. it climbs like a hardtail yet loves going downhill just as well.I cant recomend anyone in the US buy it because its no longer available but for my friends North of the border its well worth the $ with its component package for the cost.yes there is less expensive bikes . theres more expensive but if you want middle of the road price with above middle of the road features and components this is an excellent choice
Devincci says"if you went to the trouble to get up the hill ,it should be able to have a blast coming back down" or something like that but its true. excellent climber and downhiller too. balance was perfect for me,feels like running insead of being on a bike. cant give it a 5 on the overall because its not widely available but thats not Devinccis fault so Ill keep it high

Strength:

Nice bike, lots of suspension, paid in CND dollars. It was a demo bike with full warranty. Tires have good grip, and climbs well

Weakness:

Noisy. You need to grease any clamped parts or it will drive you nuts. the rear end makes tons of noise while going downhill. The suspension seems tough to service.

I like it, and will ride it for years to come. I have improved my riding tenfold with this bike. I needed a bike to take my weight(230lbs) without breaking every ride, it haven't had any problems with it other than the noise and I needed to bleed my brakes.

Similar Products Used: none, rode a trek 4500 and bought the Guzzler because I broke the 4500 everytime I go out.
