Rawland Cycles Sogn XC Hardtail

The Sogn is an all-around frame that's equally at home on a three mile commute to work as a 3,000 mile sojourn across the country. Designed for touring, commuting, club jamming, or a weekend century, this multi-geared bike won't quail when the pavement ends, either. This version comes with bosses for downtube shifters and cantilever brakes. A disc version is also available.

Sold with Rawland's signature biplane fork, the Sogn frame—named after a valley settled by storied Norwegian farmers near Northfield, Minnesota—is ready for equipping with your favorite mountain or road gruppo.

Strength:

perfect geometry for dirt drop/monster-cross. build quality/price. customer service. ride of steel.

Weakness:

none found.

Turns any frequented trail into a brand new trail when I take this bike out. It is the swiss army/do-all frame and fork. I use it to:ride with slower friends, ride gravel trails, single track, pulling a bob trailer, bike camping. If you ride one off road you will want one. very similar to the Drakkar (this review could be used interchangeably).

Similar Products Used: nothing truly similar to this unique frame&fork. surly cross check, fisher 29er, multiple modern mountain bikes.
