very well made and very strong with good components and out standing tyres as were all the elite range around 2004, very well balanced frame,20in frame is very good for cross country not so for DH 18 in would suit better, both bikes are very good and much better than bikes today (2014)around £500 to a £1000 as they dont have the same templated frame they all seem to have that cause rolling, something no one seems to talk about.

shocks are a bit stiff and cant buy the bigfoot hubs any more

as i said before rolling is a big problem in cross country not so in FR or DH. it happens when the frame is to short and the forks are to straight and short, i'm sure there will be a technical term for it, i have a muddyfox molotov and the asent fs both are 2004 and are still in 2014 better than most bikes out there molotov because the frame weight and balance and the asent is just outstanding. i have tryed many bikes over the years and never felt the urge to change although scott and marin are coming close now. my bikes have been well used and have proved the test of time and today turn heads more than ever especially when passing other bike down a hill or across the moor. its a real shame these two bikes didnt make it big just because of an image people dont no what they have mist, as for me i'm 49 and dont need an image i just need to thrash every hill and moor and every one on them before i cant keep up anymore
