Strength:

Light, stiff, really nice lookin'

Weakness:

NONE

I've used this bike for an year, training and racing. It's the best bike I've ever had. Light, stiff, good climber but also good for descends, the lefty being amazing. I just can recommend to give it a try. It is a bit expesive, but it worth every single penny. A real race machine

Strength:

lightweight, fast and very agile. The carbon frame is superb.

Weakness:

the Cannondale Ultra Fatty forks are the worst forks I've ever used. Plush for one ride, leak oil and then back to the shop. 5 times they've been back for replacement parts for the forks. Totally garbage

A fantastic bike if the forks were half decent. The ride feel is superb. But with the fork problems I could not recommend a Cannondale to anyone. It took 6 weeks for Cannondale to get a part to the bike shop to fix the forks. Only to find a month later back in the shop waiting for them to be fixed again. The quality of the frame and all the other parts is spot on. It's a shame Cannondale can't make a set of forks which will stay working. With different forks this bike would be ideal for cross country hardcore riders, as long as you don't need to contact Cannondale.

Strength:

Super light, super responsive, super stiff yet forgiving.

Weakness:

made in china

The bike stock off the floor weighs 22.5, changed seat handle bars, added lefty, and still weighs 22.5. Has to be the most responsive bike I have ever ridden. Reminds me of what it would be like to take my road bike out on a trail. Accelerates, climbs, and throws into corners. Tons of control, and puts an geniune smile on my face everytime I ride. Though it is the first hardtail I've been on in a long time, you do feel a lot of the trail. If your looking for a fast, fast bike and willing to give up the plushness of FS for overall agility you can't miss.
