TURTLE PURPLE

Strength:

NOT SURE WHAT YEAR IT IS ITS PURPLE WITH DIRT JUMPER 3 FORKS. ANYWAY ITS THE BEST ALLOY HARD TAIL I HAVE EVER RIDEN. NOT QUITE THE SAME AS A GOOD CROMO HART TAIL. BUT I FIND THAT MY BIGFOOT DECENDS BETTER THAN MY FIVE INCH DUALLY MONGOOSE TEOCALI. BRAKES A LITTLE NOISY BUT WORK GOOD. I HAVE UPGRADED TO XO GRIP SHIFTERS WITH F AND R X7 SRAM SHIFTERS.. THAE SUNN RIMMS ARE BULLET PROOF EVEN IF THEY ARE DIFFICULT TO CHANGE TYRES WITH PLASTIC TYRE LEVERS..

Weakness:

FIRST THING I CHANGED WAS THE GRIPS AND PEDALS.. THE ONLY THING HERE IS THE WEIGHT BUT HEY I HAVENT BROKEN IT YET ..

BUY IT ... ITS A GREAT DO IT ALL BIKE ..............

Strength:

its strength is everything !!!!

Weakness:

to me the bike has no weaknesses , it has dj4 forks , 185mm disc brakes and hussefelt almost everything on it and its just truly an amazing bike , i take my bigfoot to the skatepark all the time because it has a frame that could be for downhill , freeriding and even park , ive switched my front sprocket to a one speed but left an 8 set of gears in the back but overall the bike is awsome !!! buy the bike if your looking for something that will blow your mind !

honestly the bike has never quit on me , i have had it stock from 07 all the way to 09 and it was perfect but i decided to change it up and got custom metallic red rims along with a red sprocket and left an 8 set of gears on the back and ive been changing the sprocket on it every once in a while just to get different looks and also the brakes are just amazing , i go top speed with that bike and ive practiced something where i can click both brakes at the same time and the bike will just stop at an instant and its amazing i love the bike ! and the dj4 forks are incredible ! ill never change those and also the bike provides you with the best speed , best jumps and of course the best tricks , it may not be the lightest but its perfect weight ! buy this bike !

Strength:

Frame, Tyres, Rims, Headset, Handlebars, Fork (at times), Everything except weaknesses

Weakness:

Dont try 4 foot drops on this, like me, they will bottom out, which dont sound good. The derailleur likes to bounce around through the trails, but get a chain tensioner, DJ 4's when not tightened, bottom out 75% just when peddaling. Tighten them. Brakes Kinda suck, can squel if you do not adjust them, sandpaper them, or wipe down the brakes with rubbing alcohol, avid juicy 3's need lots of mini adjustments everyday, Get Windcutter Aligator's, Same performance,no squaling, no over heating

Bikes a beast, survived everything so far. DH, DJ, XC, Etc. Well worth 800$ prob more. Frame is like 5 inch think at head tube, crazy strong. Gears dont skip, etc. BUY IT if you are a beginner looking to get better like me.

Strength:

Everything is its strength!

Weakness:

Its a little bit heavy than I thought but its nothing, the Grips worn out so fast, and the pedals studs get lose pretty fast. so before you use it make use every studs are really tight so you wont lose one. Learn that from the experience.

This bike is very awesome so strong, easy to handle, and can do everything you want it to do! If you are thinking buying this bike. Do it, you wont regret it! AWESOME BIKE! I put 4 Flame in Value rating cause they put really bad grips, but that is so easy to change.

Strength:

The bike geometry, centre of gravity and balance is excellent for this hardtail free-ride. It's very easy to handle, takes punishment well and the fat betty tyres while "phat", ride suprisingly good on-road. Hydraulic brakes not too bad.

Weakness:

front shocks are a little "spongy", could do with an upgrade.
not a big fan of the "branding" all over the bike, but nothing like a can of paint that wont fix this.

Excellent bike. I don't think you can get a better quality bike for this price range. As usual, the Canadians have done a great job.

Pretty well everything

Weakness:

Grips suck
Brakes have a LONNNG break in period
Seat can be a bit hard but who sits on the seat anyway?

Overall an AWESOME ride, climbs pretty well and takes the downs like a beast! Forks soak up everything they need too, brakes stop you well enough but the break in period is annoying. The geomatry inspires confidance to try anything. Perhaps one of my favorite parts of this bike is the super wide handlebar, it just make everything better! And i have to admit the yellow pedals look pretty sick! Overall and awesome bike that can do some of everything. I love some XC but rippin down freeride/downhill trails fill me with joy. LOVE IT, nuff said

Weekend Warrior

Strength:

really slick forks, great for just about everything. tires are really grippy.

Weakness:

No Lock on grips, no lockout on fork.

Really solid little bike, takes allot of abuse. The frame is weighty but it really snaps up the trails. I use it on dirt jumps, XC and dh trails as well as the local pump track. Hydros stop you well. great bike for such a low price tag.
