Strength:

Stable bike, great on descents, good climber. It's bit heavy 15+ kg but not so noticeable.

Weakness:

Bit heavy maybe...Original wheelset is bad and BB had to change.

This bike is great rig,i used it on long tours as xc bike and on DH with stronger wheelset. It is fast, good for mid jumps 2-4 meters and drops up to 2 meters. Very stable in corners. It is bit on shorter side however so i used longer stem on xc tours.
Chnaged wheelset after some time because i broke crossline rear and better brakes.

Strength:

Light, capable framset with all the features you would want in a high end hardcore but long travel bike.

Weakness:

The falling rate design is well suited to airshocks, but I have not yet had an opportunity to test it with a coil. With a suitable "boost" arrangment I am sure that this would also be fine

Great value, and good performance both up and downhill; bear in mind the caveats with regards to coil shock for Alpine duty though.

everything

Weakness:

None

The Vanish 160 is a do it all bike. I have rode this bike on XC trails, rugged Trails of Japan, and DH/Freeride Parks. This bike is flexable enough to do all these thing. So all you need is one bike to ride any trail. I is truly a do it all bike. I have never rode a bike this fun.
