Norco Truax 1 Freeride Full Suspension

Norco Truax 1 Freeride Full Suspension

DESCRIPTION

Featuring our refined A.R.T. suspension, an augmented version of the proven FSR suspension – the most efficient suspension system available – the Truax rides like a dream thanks to four major benefits: more efficient pedaling, improved braking, better square-edge bump absorption and easier-to-tune suspension. This bicycle is also stacked with refinements and technologies that add to the stunning ride qualities and aesthetically refined curb appeal. Simply put, the new Truax is faster, smoother, and prettier, providing a better ride and looks than its predecessor. Here are some of the features you will find on this bike:

  • A.R.T. suspension: results in a smoother, faster ride uphill and down and what we like to call enhanced smilivation or innovative smile design (ISD for short).
  • Full-length seat tube: more options for the rider. Use a full-length, normal seatpost if you want or upgrade to a telescoping seatpost. We’ve even included the cable routing for remote tele seatposts.
  • Lower bottom bracket and centre of gravity for improved handling: snappy, stable and responsive in all situations
  • Integrated drop out design: Syntace X12 142 x 12 mm integrated drop out, built-in gussets and custom-tapered, hydroformed tubing. A stiff rear provides energetic and reactive ride qualities.
  • Clevis-less pivot system: fewer parts, lighter, simpler and fewer stress points. An elegant, clean evolution in pivot points.
  • Tapered head tube provides a stiffer, stronger frame with no weight penalty
  • Custom hydroformed tubing is used throughout the main triangle and rear stays
  • 65.5° head angle: the perfect angle for a bicycle pointed downhill

Strength:

Fast e stable. Make you feel confident.

Weakness:

Cable lines exposed. All the mud goes straight to the front derailleur. Some kind of little mudguard needed.

Good purchase. Good value. The right bike if you need something to climb but you prefer descent.
Not so expensive as other better advertised products.
