Strength:

plush is the word you are looking for with this bike. low means fast and this bike is very low! it rides even better at high speed, pretty great pedaling. I love it at every terrain, but you should prefer rough and extreme ones.

Weakness:

Might not be a weakness but i find that much of travel 'disturbing' because I don't really need that much. Maybe its weight but, the hell, the bike is not new anymore.

Bike handles great, is fast, love the low BB, is superslack. I would only recomend this bike.

Strength:

The bike is sweet, rides super smooth through the rough stuff. The cane creek double barrel shock is the best I've ridden, and the vpp makes it so all your pedaling doesn't go straight into the suspension. The low bb is great for flying into/out of turns.

Weakness:

I have noticed that the specs from the intense geometry chart are not the numbers I get when I actually make the measurements on the bike. Not sure if that's a weakness, but my bike is labeled a large but when I actually measure it, it comes in closer to a medium (which is what I wanted).

This bike is awesome. Intense is a great company and they have awesome support. I needed a couple spacers when I was changing the bearings, called Intense and they through them in the mail right away, no charge. For comparison I needed something similar for my specialized demo, called specialized who told me to call fox for the parts I needed, fox charged me 20 bones and they took their sweet time.
Intense bikes kick @$$ and the M6 is no exception.

Strength:

Super plush, Fast cornering. The bike takes both small and large bumps very well. Also rolls off of drops very nice.

Weakness:

Seat buzz at certain heights. But not enough of an issue to bother you.

This is one of the fastest bikes I've ever been on. It corners better than any bike I've tried and can still be built very light. It's very well built and feels like it can motor through any terrain.

Strength:

Corners amazingly, can take the gnarliest terrain and (once you are used to it) jumps well.

Weakness:

You have to be fully on it when your riding this bike otherwise it really wont handle well, recommend for highly experienced DHer. BB height can also be a little low sometimes.

This bike is amazing. For anyone looking to ride serious Downhill I would highly recommend it. I think that you really have to spend a lot of time setting it up though but once it is its awesome. This is definetely a bike that takes more that a couple days to get used to.

Strength:

Build quality, customer support, and of course the design

Weakness:

The chain slap can get a little noisy. There is in fact a small, but noticable amount of chain feedback when peddaling over bumps. I have only noticed this when pedaling up a rocky hill. I'm not complaining as this is not what the bike was ever intended for.

An excellent machine. I'll start by saying how great the Intense Company is. They stand behind their product 100%. This bike rides and handles great. It is predictable at any speed and wants to go fast. It corners well, the bottom bracket is just low enough to confidently dive into flat corners. With the option of the 'world cup' dropouts that lower the bike even more, on a smooth coarse it is like riding on rails. It is a pricy purchase but a perfect set up for a world class race weekend.

Strength:

The M6 is one of the best DH bikes I've ever ridden. It corners really well, and is amazing through technical trails at a fast pace, it just sticks to the ground. It's also very stable in the air, especially over high speed race jumps.

Weakness:

The only weakness I have found is that by the chain there is a piece of metal that the chain runs by and it's difficult to silence the chain due to that. But it is possible.

It's a very expensive bike, but it's worth every single penny.

Strength:

lightish, good for straight lines.

Weakness:

really expensive, cant hop over stuff when in a pinch because of sag, but above all the bike is horribly unbalanced. if you come sailing into a turn the rear end just slides. even if you run 30psi!

wait for the 2010 model for them to balance out the weight. maybe they will have balanced it out by then. for now, if you love intense, just stick to the m3. its even more jump friendly.
