Strength:

Frame built like a tank, great geometry, light, nice and simplistic paintjob

Weakness:

The rims are kinda bad, went out of true during the first weeks. The grips are slippery when wet/soaked. Notihng major imo. as I plan to replace the parts once they break.

Picked up my P1 2011 used a few month ago to have something to play with and to get into trail/street/dj. the previous owner hadn't ridden it very much so it was in top condition with only a few scratches in the paint. Great bike to start learning tricks with and the price is unbeatable.

Strength:

Great Frame, Great Wheels, Great Forks, Awesome stem Short

Weakness:

Tyres wear down quickly, Bars a bit small, Grips rip after first stack

Great bike i would recommend to anyone who rides aggressively and jumps roughly. i have had the bike for almost 4 months now and first day i cased it roughly and the rim didn't buckle not did the tyre inflate. the orange and brown looks cool compared to the black and white version sold at JTcycles. i still have the front brake on as i ride hard though it has flicked me off quite alot when jumping its locks cause its goin right through the headset like a gyro. it is alot better then my gt performer bmx much sturdier and its easyer to ride with the 28-14 ratio. when i was riding my stiff frame performer and then changed to the p1 my forks seam extremely bouncy. i would highly recommend this over a gt chucker 3.0 (brothers DJ) as it is straight of the shelf pure quality.

Just picked up a 2009 P1 as a play bike and to get used to riding flats. Love this bike and should have got one a long time ago as my skill and tricks are improving so much and so quickly. Will look forward to getting to some DJ in this summer. Also cruising around on a SS is so much fun with people racing around the bike paths here...Coming from clipless its been a challenge but picking this up really quickly on this bike.

Weakness:

None so far

Love the simplicity of this bike and pretty solid for the bigger rider (~210). Clean simply fun..

Strength:

Everything is pretty great. For all the weight weenies out there I think this bike is suitable for you or atleast I think so. The fork is great and this thing is solid. The attention to deail is superb. The disc brakes are good bit should be changed somewhere down the line to hydraulic. The cranks are strong as well but may be changed for someone more picky than I am.

Weakness:

WHEELS! They are heavy and weak. I plan on changing the up when they get out of true.

This is a phenomenal bike. I think it is very light compared to my 38 lb bmx cough diamondback turd cough cough. Every part is well manufactured making this bike tough. This bike weighs about 31 lbs on a bathroom scale which is nothing to celebrate for a xc rider but great for a dj bike especially at this price. Now with all the good there is some bad... The wheels r weak and hefty, the brakes rough, the cranks could be changed for a lighter set, and I would go for plastic pedals to save my shins as well. The only real change needed is the wheels the rest is for the picky. The bike is good fir trails as well. I even rode some scary dh chutes and the bike took it well.

Strength:

Bought it a year old with some upgrades. I've had it for four years and she is still going strong. The frame is all that is left from when I bought it. It's the aluminum frame but has held up just fine for my riding- some craziness but nothing too huge.

Weakness:

Bent the isis bb quickly. Not a huge fan of disc brakes.
The frame set up didn't allow me to use the inner bash guard for my MDS sprocket with the KHE freecoaster hub.

It's been a great bike to me. I use it for commuting, street/park, singletrack, bar transportation.

It's a good affordable bike.
