Pivot Cycles M4X DJ/MtnX

Our all-new M4X has already been ridden to dual slalom podium finishes as well as Best Trick at the Claymore Challenge by Kyle Strait, proving that it’s got more than what it takes... it’s a Pivot! With 4” of rear dw-link tuned suspension, it’s designed to eat up bumps, rail turns at speed and pedal with ultimate efficiency.

The M4X is perfect for dirt jumping, slalom racing, or hitting the terrain park. The 142x12 rear end keeps things tight and stiff, making sure your power goes to the rear wheel. If you’re looking to expand your definition of “fun”, then the M4X is the bike you’ve been searching for.

  • Tapered headtube

Strength:

- The suspension/geometry for this bike is dialed for its purpose.
- It's light, but strong.
- It is a blast to ride both for trail and jumping.
- Pivot customer service is next to none.

Weakness:

- If you want to use it for both trail riding and jumping you may want to consider having two seatposts cut to the correct lengths for each (i.e short and longer) or get a dropper post and use with a QR seatpost clamp.
- More expensive than similar use frames.

This bike is more expensive than the other offerings like it, but the dialed suspension/geometry and light weight make it worth it for me. Also, this bike is obviously made for jumping etc., but if you want a short travel trail bike that is quick handling and that can handle the fun stuff, but is not all stretched out like an XC race bike, this is one you should consider.
