Identiti 666s DJ/MtnX

Identiti 666s DJ/MtnX

DESCRIPTION

Lightweight double butted tubing and sleek styling give this great all-rounder clean looks and responsive handling.

Using Identiti's Adjustable Dropout System, this Cr-Mo Dirt bike can be run with derailleur gears, hub gears or Single Speed, with QR skewers or nutted axles, 24" or 26" wheels - in any combination with disc brakes.

The Euro type threaded BB saves weight and allows direct compatibility with most MTB crank systems. A BMX style 'no-flare' reinforced 1 1/8" CNC headtube keeps the front end secure.

Features:

  • Double butted T.A.F. 4130 Cr-Mo
  • Straight toptube with super rigid flowed-in seat stays
  • Bi-ovalised downtube (for maximum headtube and BB strength)
  • Taper box downtube gusset
  • Alloy Identiti A.D.S. dropout system (for complete user flexibility)
  • Euro 68mm MTB BB shell (for use with most cranks systems)
  • Reinforced BMX style heavy duty CNC headtube
  • Sleek, disc only brake mounting
  • Identiti T-4 seat post and QR clamp included

    Strength:

solid frame with 2 options for dropouts to run 24" or 26" wheels, the green is almost its own reflector. seem to put the power down nice, easy to flick around, manuals nicely. gives you a horizontalish dropout mount for adjusting chain but retains your brake setting. Separate decals allows you to customize your ride.

    Weakness:

Bottom bracket threads weren't cleaned up so well, took me an hour to get it threaded in all the way. Paint is weak and chips easily. Included seatpost wouldn't adjust to where i like my seat to be, it's angled up too much. 24" dropouts have to be purchased separately. Only comes in one size, which fits me well but I'm 5'6" probably small for some. To early to say anything about durability.

Got this frame to replace my Flow(rear brake mount snapped doing 180 stalls). It manuals super easy, though quick to loopout with 24" setup. Even though it's heavier than my Flow was, it seems to jump and hop way easier thanks to the shorter rear triangle. All and all a great urban/DJ frame. hopefully it puts up with some abuse.
