Best buy for under 450, especially as I bought it as a leftover for 329. You cant beat this bike with a stick at that price...best componentry of any bike under 450, the only prob is I bought a purple one because it was the only leftover in my frame size. I tried alot of other bikes and this bike had better componentry than the 2000 models from Trek(4500) and Diamondback(Response).

Light Weight, Good value for money, good wheels and rims, Suspension.

No name v-brakes, don't like easy-fire shifters much.

Great bike for money. Had it for a year and has heald up well. If your looking for an alloy frame and suspension for a low cost it is a good bike with good components.

Great bike for the money. Paid $349 at Performance,works ok as is but up-grading is a must! Folded rear wheel @ 2 months, brake cables frayed @3 months. Upgraded to XT group, Mammoth wheels, riser bars and soon the fork will go also! other than that it's a great bike, besides who can leave their bike stock? STOCK BIKES SUCK!!!!!

This bike's awesome....especially for the price!! I'd probably change the shocks but the truth is that the Indys are great shocks for the beginner. 5 FLAMING CHILLIES HERE!!!

this bike is an excellent deal for the money. at 26 pounds, it is fairly light wieght for the 400-500 dollar price range. the only thing i could possibly do to make this bike better is put lx/xt components on it (even though alivio is more than adequate for the price), and maybe add a manitou sx fork.
i couldn't ask for a better bike for the price i bought it for, i have a feeling it will last me a long time.
