Strength:

Rugged, light (for the money) frame, takes a licking and keeps on ticking....have hit the trial more than once while learning the basic skills and bike has held up well....

Weakness:

Fancy decals with clearcoat but paint chips way too easy..the chain stay (under the chain) has numerous chips already from "chain slap"....at 29 lbs....you get what you pay for....but overall pleased with the bike.....

For entry level MTB a great purchase...Not enough recoginition for a company (Fuji) that has been in business for 100 years....must be doing something right....Would make the same decision again....

Strength:

Very light front end. Brakes work very well. Frame balance is great, especially since I changed out the stem for "fit".

Weakness:

None significant. I will be switching to clipless pedals as I find the clips to really get in the way.

I have enjoyed this bike very much. It took about six hours of riding before I really felt like it was a good "fit". I looked at bikes twice the price and found the Outback to be a great value. I highly recommend it for the eager weekend rider. It handles the technical stuff with relative ease.
